Payment Policy – Hauora Coaching
At Whakapakari Ora Wahine Wellness, our hauora coaching payment policy is grounded in kaupapa Māori values of trust (whakawhirinaki), mutual respect (whakaute), and manaakitanga (care). We aim to create a sustainable and flexible model that supports both the wellbeing of our clients and the continuity of our services.
How It Works
- Coaching sessions are billed at our agreed rate.
- Clients are asked to set up a recurring weekly direct deposit into our business account:

Our Trust-Based Approach
This policy is based on reciprocity and ensures consistency for both the client and the coach. Here’s what it means:
- Clients remain in control of their own payments by managing the direct deposit.
- If a client is away, sick, or needs to reschedule, payments continue as usual, and any missed sessions can be made up at a later date.
- If the coach (Kandace) is away or unavailable, the same applies — your payment continues, and we will arrange make-up sessions with you.
This approach allows us to:
- Keep pricing consistent and fair.
- Maintain a steady income for our hauora practitioners.
- Offer flexibility and commitment without requiring long-term contracts.
Cancellation Policy
To keep our kaupapa sustainable and respectful to all clients and practitioners:
- If you cancel with less than 12 hours’ notice, the session will be charged in full and no refund or credit will be given.
- If more than 12 hours’ notice is given, we will work with you to reschedule your session.
- Exceptions may be made for emergencies, tangihanga (funerals), or circumstances beyond your control — please kōrero with us if this occurs.
We believe that trust and mutual understanding are key to the success of your wellness journey and the sustainability of this kaupapa.

Our wānanga and events are open to the public and grounded in kaupapa Māori values of manaakitanga, wairuatanga, and kaitiakitanga. These spaces are created to uplift community wellbeing, share traditional knowledge, and strengthen our connection to te taiao (the natural world).
We offer a range of experiences throughout the motu, including:

- 🚶♀️ Hīkoi Series – guided nature walks exploring rākau Māori, pūrākau (storytelling), and spiritual grounding
- 🧶 Weaving Workshops – collaborative raranga experiences delivered with our hoa mahi at Kahu Collective, weaving both fibres and community
- 🧘♀️ Guided Meditations & Wairua Practices – calming sessions to align wairua and hinengaro, grounded in maramataka and te taiao
- 🩺 Koha-Based Community Clinics – accessible mirimiri and holistic rongoā services offered with aroha
Our events align with the maramataka (Māori lunar calendar), creating opportunities to attune with the natural rhythms of the moon and environment.
